The night the cat was hit and died

The day we missed the Cancun flight

Hiding home for those two weeks 
we never missed Cancun 

The driver who hit kitty 
now a dearest friend 

Working and school made us
 better smarter organized and strong

And in healing that first fight
 we made a son
