The Point

Mustangs fill the mornin' light

Sunlight flares the sky

Gods of sandstone guard the wall

Wonders tell us why

Ragamuffin rainbows rise

Arrows set to part

Ripping youth from what is old

Talons in my heart

Moments to reset a bond

Stardust's flit too soon

Roaming now beyond the bend

Faint echoes of a tune

Seize and trust a steady hand

Truth lies in the eyes

Firm to all the stable law

No rush and no surprise

Stay a bit to know your roll

Of what and why become

Saddle up this washboard road

Ride with me and run

Time takes many everywhere

All of us may fly

Let us prize what gifts we've won

And proudly say goodby

Framing A Boy

To raise a boy right

By his bed fill four frames

That he may be wise

Painted in the first

Vivid colors of his roots

 A past that grew him

Second a window

Visions far beyond the glass

Clarity through pane

A fire built third

Warming his first leap to light

And all can be done

Then gods greatest gift

Realities truest test

A mirror set last

To raise a girl wise

Oh my son my son

Forever I am with you

Never should you doubt

You are far away

I hear your desperation

I feel every tear

Your pain also mine

Though you feel it all alone

One day you will know

I sent you a gift

One I prayed to make you strong

Love never left you

My greatest of light

I am with you now once more

A love we embrace

New skies will be bright

Agony distant and past

Again with my son

Hips don't lie, confidence

 prevails.

In the name of love, we belong together,

Wolves back to you, in the moon's

All that matters, lies Valerie, my boo,

Roger Rabbit dangerously in love, pretty hurts

too.

Stereo heart, she will be loved,

Fantasy location, electric changes, burn

thereof.

Colors bad at love, my girl mad,

Infinity gold, bulletproof low, have faith in me

clad.

Cool kicks umbrella, remembering Sunday,

Issues hollow, should have been us, in

disarray.

Stay beautiful, just a dream,

Who shot ya showdown, chasing the sky's

gleam.

Close as strangers, jet black heart, the girl,

Pieces coming back down, a long way home in a

whirl.

Love don't change, say goodbye,

Let me love you, how you gonna, u got it bad,

 oh my!

If it means a lot to you, almost is not enough,

Cold heart killer DNA, dangerous woman, halo like father like son,

tough.

Replay force of nature, the Offspring miss you,

What I like about you, animals, just the way you are,

 cast away

too.

Want you back, all now or never, stone cold,

Pairs closer, don't let me down, a tale

Son I am now gone

To assail the furthest stars

I have 4 requests

Of my holy ash

If only and just to you

In these spots please spread

Atop my mountain

Mid pines upon the meadow

Hills we both have climbed

Far to that homeland

On the hammer in the square

Smash me back in time

Down below red rock

Sewn Deep to our desert land

Keep me close to home

The last your secret

Should you have need of advice

I am there to hear

Word of The Krakon

Deep beneath the ocean lands

Crossless deserts grown

Fields of endless rolling sands

Home to parts unknown

Stirred up lifeforce dark 'n deep

Far beneath the loam

Angered by a lack of sleep

Noises in it's dome

Out to dig a daggered hand

Crushing all below

Bent to see our holy lands

Ripped to undertow

Bedlam early rises east

Blocking out the sun

Westword on a marching feast

Netting all to one

Krakon! Wailed the early call

Quick! Our monster rallies

Marching for the world to fall

Mountains fell to valleys

Words are its awaking

Angers spent too loud

Kraken's tongue is raking

Bitesized by the crowd

Sparing bits of all of us

Spitting little back

Devils own prometheus

Plans the next attack

Guarding all your bracken

Guarding all your things

Cannot slow the Krakon

Whose dinner bell, It rings!

Trees

Monolith pillars

Stand guard in green and red

Silent as their ghosts

Foot falls of ancients

Buried deep in stone and sand

Echo longing prayer

Immortal the winds

Breathing calm to wing and game

All at rest of fear

Rare to brushing hand

An agora set to wild

Fed to fortunes few

Boundary a covet

Kept by souls of dead and one

They who paid in deed

Spring from high water

Mother come in peace renew

Witness in the trees

Quiet came the truth

Quick and bitter to this fight

Quelled the traitors cause

Quorum paid their toll

Quaking thunder on the wall

Quills to right a wrong

Quash the serpent fed

Queens and captains kick in check

Quartered by the mob

Quitting no arrest

Quotes seem gone and sought anew

Quoth we nevermore

Quiver some to shame

Quintisential to a pause

Quantom comes the light

Qualified command

Queirries left are met and done

The Catwood

Seed unique of place in time

grew the Catwood tree

Far beneath a boulders soil

barely lit set she

Hopeless seemed her happenstance

Just below a crack

Given just a grain of hope

Catwood grew from black

Fighting just to fill a space

Hardened by the world

Catwood fought and found a breach

Just to be unfurled

Stalwart was her journey

Shifting through the stone

Often nearer giving in

Than rising all alone

Wisdom from the waters

And a courage in the night

Catwood battled upward

To the vision of her light

Faithful in a knowledge that

The work would set her free

Catwood split the boulder

To become a mighty tree

Rooted to her granite base

A trunk of stately spire

Branched of dreams to bless the earth

Blooming to inspire

Riches now a gift she gives

In others arid lands

Seeing what it took to be

Where now the Catwood stands

Snows of Kandahar

To the darkest dark of bitter cold

In the snows of Kandahar

I rose enough to bend a knee

In prayer mid mindless war

Please dear lord grant pause to hands

That forward take the fight

On this your child's holy day

I plead for silent night

The angels bells are over run

Their harps in chaos play

The dread and fear await the sun

For a death on Christmas day

Faith in shattered ashes lay

For comrades old and new

My wife is home alone tonight

With children one and two

Tears I only have to give

The clips have all run dry

Life my total present spent

In foreign lands to die

Intercede your mighty hand

A wish to all no ill

Winning is a journey home

Not this bitter pill

Bless me now before the light

Furies breach the wall

Calm this hearts acceptance

That in battle some must fall

I hope they'll know the sacrifice

Spilled yet not deterred

Of these who spent their greatest gift

On a final peace they served

I fell from there on bended knee

In prayer mid mindless war

To the darkest dark of bitter cold

In the snows of Kandahar

Report to The High Gate Keeper

Mame,

Today I asked Eternity

Stand watch upon a star

"Were is heaven?" I shouted

And swore that it was there

"Spin around both up and down

To where you think it be"

There upon the mountain top!

Guessed Eternity

"Look deeper, child"

"Go and March"

She and I arose.

To levels higher

Again I asked

"Where is heaven?"

"Beneath the broken flags!"

No! "Go and March"

Up beyond a bend

Inward through the leaves

She had seen

Eternity knew

Eternity reborn

Eternity now stands

In treasured lands

Defender of heaven

Guardian of a gate

Eternity is overwatch.

Through angel flocks

And ancient trees

Heaven well below

Tonight

I leave you tonight

I will seek you from the stars

I am with you love

An unsure rising

A leap from a mighty tree

A Hard way taken

My cure now rising

Many weep I ebb and sway

Melancholy free

Miracles of pain

March my rusted soul estate

Moments holding me

Alarming to rest

Almost dazzled in the light

A new eye has seen

No disrespect left

No life debts left but given

Now I am set free

Elsies Ground

I set out a canvas

and six bending sticks.

If its a trying yer after

Fer testing the ticks

Down past the willows

a rather flat spot

Go raise a hut

and build ye a cot.

Take the retriever,

a shot, and a round.

Sleep and relax

as I hear every sound.

I pray that this wee one

marries the stars.

On nights in my garden

Walled from 'er wars.

Song of Destinys

Singing songs of destinys

In worlds of endless fields

Atop her stone of knowledge

Astride the streams of fear

At one with ancient demons

Dancing angel on the line

A bead among the weavings

Born to giants back in time

Soul of baby racing bison

Heart of otters work to play

Wolf run free with wisdom

Fly her thunderbirds away

Sing the song of destinys
The world she may become
Bow to none but promise
Every day a brighter one
